NISHA McGREEVY​​​

Nisha McGreevy co-founded Opis to leverage three decades of business experience and build a platform in the ever evolving real estate landscape of NYC. Nisha brings to Opis expertise in building businesses, investing for growth, managing complex projects of all natures, working with Boards, executive teams, community groups and other constituencies, and raising financing through public and private capital sources.


Nisha most recently served as the CEO of Parm Fund LLC, an emerging hospitality group, where she optimized the operating model, developed a strategic expansion model and new site selection criteria, negotiated new site acquisitions, led design and construction teams, and negotiated the restructuring of the partnership which included a new equity capital raise, consolidation of stock classes, partial distributions and contribution of intellectual property. Prior to this role, Nisha advised hundreds of corporate and financial clients on strategic and financing matters as an investment banker for over 25 years. In that capacity, she worked as a Senior Managing Director at Atlas Advisors, a boutique advisory firm in NYC. Prior to Atlas, she was a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking at Barclays Capital. In addition to leading the global Consumer team, Nisha was a generalist banker who delivered client solutions in corporate finance, strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, leveraged buyouts, enterprise risk management and investment management. Prior to Barclays, she was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers with similar client responsibilities. Prior to Lehman, she was Head of Consumer North America Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co., leading the team and providing relationship coverage to a diverse range of corporate clients for over 15 years.

In the nonprofit sector, Nisha served for 9 years as the Chair of the Board of St. Luke’s School in Manhattan, leading the School through a series of significant strategic changes including developing the School's first ever strategic plans, negotiating the School's independence from the Episcopal Diocese, negotiating a long-term multi-generational lease for its current site, executing the School's first capital campaign, and working with the NYC Landmarks Commission, Manhattan Community Board 2, and the School's architects, owner's reps, contractors and banks on the $35+ million development of facility, playspace and landscaping additions and renovations. She also served 13 years at Film Forum, one of the few autonomous nonprofit cinema companies in the U.S., as FInance Committee Chair and Board member. She currently serves on the Audit & Finance Committee of The Creek Club in Locust Valley, NY.

Nisha holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Commerce with Concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.

Opis Partners was founded by Una Fogarty, Nisha McGreevy and Kirtna Pai in 2015. Incorporating a variety of development experience with over 70 years of combined tenure on Wall Street, Una, Nisha and Kirtna bring an uncommon and valuable skill set to real estate development by leveraging their significant market, structuring, project management and valuation expertise. A women-owned firm, Opis Partners delivers patience, tenacity and acumen to each project it considers.

KIRTNA PAI

A child of portfolio managers, Kirtna learned about investing from an early age. In 2005 after two decades on Wall Street, she began assembling a diversified portfolio of investments, including private equity, private real estate and startups. In 2015 Kirtna co-founded Opis Partners, an all women real estate development firm investing in multiple ground up real estate projects aggregating over 650,000 square feet. She was also an early investor in a highly amenitized condo project in Miami’s emerging Design District.

At Morgan Stanley in New York for over a decade Kirtna was most notably a founding member of the Global Structured Products Group, an innovative JV between the Investment Banking and Fixed Income Divisions, originating, structuring and executing complex investment products and derivatives transactions for Institutional Investors and importantly, for the firm, for hedging, risk management and investment goals while optimizing accounting, capital and tax treatment. She led the firm’s educational initiative on derivatives accounting for clients and the salesforce. Earlier she was a derivatives structuring VP at General Re Financial Products, a financial engineering Associate at Citibank Derivatives and a Senior Associate in econometrics research sales and consulting at DRI/McGraw-Hill.  Kirtna is experienced in advising, structuring and executing client solutions, while optimizing financial market conditions, tax and governmental constraints, accounting and capital needs.

Kirtna currently co-chairs the Parents Leadership Council at the Columbia University School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. She served as an active member of the Parents Association at Trinity School New York and the Horace Mann School including as Diversity Group Co-Chair, PA Secretary and Mindfulness Parent Group Co-Chair. Kirtna was Board Treasurer for the International Women’s Health Coalition, on the Board of the Kenilworth Fund, a no-load large cap value mutual fund and currently serves as Treasurer for the 71st St Block Association in Manhattan.

Kirtna earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and her BA in Economics from Tufts University.

UNA FOGARTY

Una began her real estate development efforts in 2015 at Ranger Partners, working on the acquisition of a site in historic Greenwich Village and collaborating on the design of a 75 unit co-living project in LIC. Seeking to work with other talented women, she founded Opis Partners to leverage over twenty five years of business experience. She led the effort to invest in Jersey City, developing skills in site evaluation and acquisition, budgeting, design, construction project management, lease up strategy and property management. She has acquired and transformed multiple properties in her home community of Bellport, Long Island, and also lead the complex restoration of The Collect Pond House, a 1913 Beaux Arts residential building in Tribeca.

Una previously worked at Goldman Sachs in New York for 15 years. As a Managing Director within the Securities Division, she managed a high performing sales team focusing on the foreign exchange and interest rate markets. She structured and executed complex derivative transactions with large asset managers, corporations and governments. Throughout her career, Una has focused on business development and achieving strategic objectives while providing customized advice and solutions. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Una was a Vice President of Fixed Income Derivatives Marketing at UBS Securities and an Investment Banking Financial Analyst at Lehman Brothers.

Una is currently Chair of Kenyon Women Give Back, the Alumna Association of Kenyon College. She previously served on the Board of FOSLS, an endowment fund for St. Luke’s School, Fearless Beauty, a non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of women and the Friends of Washington Market Park in Tribeca. She was also Chair of the Board of the Youth Advocacy Center in Manhattan, a non-profit that supports teens aging out of foster care.

Una holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Kenyon College. She also studied and worked in Tokyo, Japan.
