Opis Partners was founded by Una Fogarty, Nisha McGreevy and Kirtna Pai in 2015.    Incorporating a variety of development experience with over 60 years of combined tenure on Wall Street, the team brings a unique perspective to the real estate business.  Leveraging their significant market, structuring and valuation expertise to real estate development, Una, Nisha and Kirtna bring an uncommon and valuable skill set to development. A women-owned firm, Opis Partners brings patience, tenacity and acumen to each project it considers.


Una Fogarty co-founded Opis Partners to combine her extensive experience in international financial markets with her long-term interests in urban economic development and thoughtful design and form.

Una worked at Goldman Sachs in New York for 15 years, most recently as a Managing Director within the Securities Division, managing a top-performing foreign exchange sales team.  She was directly responsible for overseeing some of the most important corporate, government and supranational client relationships of the firm.  She advised on, structured and executed complex global transactions in order for clients to manage their currency and interest rate exposures through rapidly changing market conditions.   Throughout her career, Una has focused on business development and achieving strategic objectives while providing customized advice and solutions.  Well regarded for her deep and thorough financial knowledge, she was able to address a wide range of client needs and matters.    Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Una was a Vice President of Fixed Income Derivatives Marketing at UBS Securities and an Investment Banking Financial Analyst at Lehman Brothers.

Una is an active member of her community and currently serves as a Board Member of the Friends of St. Luke’s School, an endowment fund for the St. Luke’s School in New York, and a Board Member of Fearless Beauty, a non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of women.  Previously Una was the Chairman of the Board of the Youth Advocacy Center in Manhattan and served as a Board Member of the Washington Market Park in New York.

Una holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Kenyon College.  She also studied and worked in Tokyo, Japan.


Nisha McGreevy co-founded Opis to leverage three decades of business experience and build a platform in the ever evolving real estate landscape of NYC.  Nisha brings to Opis expertise in building businesses, investing for growth, managing complex projects of all natures, working with Boards, executive teams, community groups and other constituencies, and raising financing through public and private capital sources.

Nisha has advised hundreds of corporate and financial clients on strategic and financing matters as an investment banker for over 25 years.  In that capacity, she worked as a Senior Managing Director at Atlas Advisors, a boutique advisory firm in NYC.  Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. McGreevy was a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking at Barclays Capital. In addition to leading the global Consumer team, Ms. McGreevy was a generalist banker who delivered client solutions in areas such as corporate finance, strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, leveraged buyouts, enterprise risk management and investment management.  Prior to Barclays, Ms. McGreevy was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers with similar client responsibilities.  Prior to joining Lehman, she was Head of Consumer North America Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., leading the team and providing relationship coverage to a diverse range of corporate clients for over 15 years.

Nisha also served for 9 years as the Chairman of the Board of St. Luke’s School in Manhattan.  She led the School through a series of significant strategic changes, including developing the School's first and second strategic plan in its 70+ year history, negotiating the School's independence from the Episcopal Diocese, negotiating a long-term multi-generational lease for its current site, working with the NYC Landmarks Commission, Community Board, and the School's owner's reps and contractors on the development of a major new facility addition, executing the School's first capital campaign which outperformed its targets, and raising third-party bank financing to further support the capital project.

Nisha holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.


Kirtna Pai co-founded Opis Partners to enact a vision of responsibly managed and well designed real estate with like-minded partners.

Kirtna brings to Opis over two decades of Wall street experience designing, structuring and executing complex and highly lucrative investment products for Institutional Investors and Financial Institutions.  Kirtna worked at Morgan Stanley for 13 years in a variety of roles including more recently Co-Heading the Financial Institutions Advisory Group at Morgan Stanley Asset Management where she lead the team in delivering the firm's asset management strategies and worked on customizing global pension solutions for clients.  Prior to that Kirtna was an Executive Director in the Structured Products and Fixed Income Derivatives Groups at Morgan Stanley where she originated highly complex structured transactions serving a variety of institutional client needs including hedging and risk management, investment goals and optimization of accounting, capital and tax treatment.  She lead the educational initiative at the firm on derivatives accounting for clients and the salesforce in the early days of derivatives.  Before that Kirtna worked for 3 years as an Associate at General Re Financial Products designing and placing exotic fixed income and currency US Government Agency Securities for Primary Issuance and doing asset repackagings.  She also worked as a Summer Intern at Citibank in Financial Engineering and for 4 years at DRI/McGraw-Hill, an Econometrics Research and Consulting Firm where she was a Senior Associate.

Kirtna is believer in community involvement and has served on the Advisory Boards of Girls Learn International and Women’s Education Project, both of which focus on education for girls in disadvantaged communities.  She is an active member of the PA at her children’s school, currently serving as PA Secretary for the Trinity School in NYC.

Kirtna earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and her BA in Economics from Tufts University.  She served as a director on the Board of Directors of The Kenilworth Fund, a no-load large cap equity value fund, for 10 years.
